Farm Insurance is similar to Homeowner’s, but is more easily tailored to your individual risk, and will include your farming operations. A Farm Policy usually includes physical damage to insured property and farm liability coverage.
Other types of personal property may be included by special endorsement, such as watercraft & recreational vehicles.
Farm Liability consists of Liability to the Public, which pays all sums which an insured shall become legally obligated to pay as damages due to bodily injury or property damage arising out of an insured’s personal activities, the insured premises, and the insured’s farming operations.
Medical Payments is subject to a sub-limit stated in the Declarations. It pays for medical expenses incurred by persons—other than an insured or employee—if bodily injury occurs in connection with the insured’s personal activities or the insured premises, and to injuries caused by animals owned by or in the care of an insured.
Employers Liability coverage is provided to cover bodily injury sustained by a farm employee in the course of their employment if the insured is legally liable.
Medical Payments to Farm Employees is provided for medical expenses incurred by farm employees if the farm employee was injured in the course of their employment.
